Having A Great Fall!

It’s been a busy fall for Just Plain Silly Entertainment. Here are just a few of things we’ve doing as the leaves change!

JPS_CarBikeShowWe started off the fall with Pennsauken’s annual Car, Bike and Craft Show! Held along Maple Ave., the event featured hundreds of classic hot rods, choppers and more. Kids were treated to free balloons and face painting, courtesy of the Pennsauken’s Department of Parks and Recreation.

JPS_PennsaukenHarvestFestivalJust Plain Silly also entertained at the second annual Pennsauken Harvest Festival in October. The Pennsauken Township Events Committee had us provide both balloon twisting and face painting for attendees, as festival goers enjoyed a variety of cultural performances, free family activities and a busy craft market.

JPS_HalloweenHalloween provided some scary, good-natured fun. We juggled at Overbrook Country Club for a special members-only Halloween event, then twisted balloons and offered glow sticks to folks ready to brave Pennsauken’s annual Haunted Hay Ride; we even got to scare a few folks towards the end of the night! Then on the Friday before the big day, we twisted balloons for children at a local day care, who visited the Pennsauken Township Municipal Building.

As we approach Thanksgiving, we have a lot to be thankful for, especially for being given the opportunity to entertain at some many wonderful events and parties! If you’re looking for an entertainer, be sure to visit our Request A Quote page and send us a message!

 

We’re Marching In Erlton South’s Fourth Of July Parade!

There’s nothing quite like a parade… and it’s even better when you’re in one!

For the first time ever, we’ll be clowning around in the Erlton South Civic Association’sSummer_2015_pg1 annual Fourth of July Parade! The parade is tonight, Friday, July 3, and begins at 7:00 p.m. at the “old triangle” at Harrison and Jefferson. The parade moves down Jefferson and ends at Erlton Park.

After juggling in the parade, we’ll be twisting free balloons at the park until around 9:00 p.m.

Fore! Just Plain Silly’s Off To The Saint Charles Carnival!

CarnivalWe’re super excited to be invited back to Saint Charles Borromeo’s annual carnival! This is our third year in a row and we can’t wait!

On Tuesday night, we’ll be twisting from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. It’s Handstamp Night at the Carnival – $20 gets you unlimited rides all night!

On Friday afternoon, we’ll be there from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. for the Kiddie Carnival.

We’ll be setting up shop in the large tent next to the food stands for both days.

Saint Charles Carnival opens today and runs through Saturday from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m.
